Our National Labs are upgrading
Measurement Standards Laboratory of New Zealand
Construction is well underway on the new building at the Gracefield Innovation Quarter in Lower Hutt that will house MSL’s Temperature and Electrical Standards. The building completion is expected around March 2020 and the move will be staged to minimise service interruption. Once there is more certainty about the timing, MSL will ensure customers are advised of the possible impact.

National Measurement Institute Australia
NMIA have just announced their plans to consolidate, refurbish and upgrade their site at 36 Bradfield Road, Lindfield, NSW. These works are due to begin in the second quarter of 2020 and will take up to 2 years.
This significant investment in refurbishment positions NMI to continue a high level of service to you while enabling more rapid, flexible and effective responses to technological and scientific shifts going into the future. As you can appreciate, with a major building project such as this, it is unavoidable that some of the calibration and testing services provided by the Physical Metrology branch will be temporarily impacted. Some laboratories may be offline for a period or have reduced service capacity. NMI will endeavour to make sure you are fully informed of any potential impact on our service delivery to your business.
