Member News
Paul McMullen reports the big news in the world of metrology and accreditation is the ILAC MRA for Reference Material Producers accreditation (ISO 17034) last month.
https://ilac.org/latest_ilac_news/rmp-and-the-ilac-mra-2/
Certified reference materials are a major source of metrological traceability in chemical testing and like the accreditation of calibration labs this MRA from ILAC helps support world trade. With this formal (global) recognition accreditation for RM producers should take off similar to that of the calibration accreditations.
