    Call for Papers

    Invitation
The Metrology Society of Australasia (MSA) warmly invites you to attend its 11th Biennial Conference at the Millennium Hotel, Queenstown, New Zealand. This is the first time the MSA conference has been held outside Australia and we welcome this opportunity to promote collaboration and engagement within the scientific and metrology community throughout Australasia. The conference provides an informal environment for scientists, researchers, stakeholders and practitioners to present and discuss technical developments, innovation and the infrastructure supporting the measurement industry.

    Conference Themes
The conference will focus on the theme that Good Measurement equals Great Business, which will explore the importance and application of practical measurement solutions and business support. The programme will allow for a mix of case studies, presentations and workshops.

    Scientific Program
    The conference program includes:
Plenary talks by invited speakers presenting exciting and topical views on measurement.
Case studies are examples of measurements in industrial situations, ranging from the impact of improved measurement on business, through technical or managerial solutions, to new measurement systems.
Research papers report on any measurement-related research, including sensors, new methods and techniques, data processing, calibration systems, and measurement uncertainty. Preference given to applied metrology papers.
Workshops and forums address specific and common measurement problems. The sessions are open to questions from participants and led by appropriate experts, e.g., from industry, national measurement institutes, or applications engineers. If you would like to offer a workshop, or have a topic you would like addressed, please approach the conference organisers at Conference2015@metrology.asn.au

    Submission of Abstracts
If you wish to present a Case Study or Research Paper, please email a short abstract and biography to the organisers. Oral or Poster presentation is optional. For research papers, a written paper is also required. For case studies, a written paper is requested, but is optional. Oral presentations are 15 minutes + questions. Posters must fit within A0 portrait dimensions. Instructions and templates for abstracts and manuscripts can be down loaded from the MSA Conference website at www.metrology.asn.au/msaconnected/conference-home
