Business Development Manager (Technical Services)
Combine your technical & sales skills in this role focused on driving sales across diverse industries. BDM experience related to calibration equipment and service will be highly regarded.

The Company
Australian Calibrating Services (ACS), with its head office located in Collingwood, has been serving Australian and international customers since its formation in 1969. ACS is a family owned and operated business with a strong focus on providing outstanding customer support and service.
ACS has three specific service offerings:
• The calibration of testing machines and measuring equipment
• The design, manufacture and sale of Materials Testing equipment
• The service and maintenance of Materials Testing equipment
ACS products and services are used throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. Product sales, customer service, advice and calibrations are supported by offices across the region.

The Role
• Responsible for Business to Business (B2B) sales of calibration and technical services to wide ranging industries across Australia (in collaboration with local branches).
• Business development and lead generation, including cold calling and face to face.
• Account Management.
• Documentation of sales transactions, CRM use and updating, sales report generation and reporting.
• Preparation and delivery of presentations to existing and potential clients.
• Representation at industry events.

The Person
• Must have experience in lead generation (including cold calling and client facing) and converting those leads into sales.
• Mush have client facing B2B sales experience, ideally pertinent to calibration/technical equipment or technical services.
• Track record of achieving KPI’s.
• Competent in the use of CRM software and MS Office.
• Excellent communicator, verbal and written.
• Effective customer service skills and able to liaise with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction.
• Able to develop effective relationships within the sales department which ensure all opportunities to expand sales activities are appropriately explored.
• Full Victorian Driver’s Licence.
• Able to travel interstate.
• The successful candidate must hold a PR Visa for Australia or Australian Citizenship.
