Keynote Speakers
We are excited to announce the following keynote speakers:
Dr James K. Olthoff, Chief Metrologist, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA
Dr. Olthoff is NIST’s first Chief Metrologist, and as such serves as the primary representative both nationally and internationally of NIST’s role as the national metrology institute of the United States. He also works with NIST leadership to ensure that NIST’s core measurement capabilities remain amongst the best in the world.
Jennifer Evans, CEO, National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), Australia
Jennifer has held this position since May 2011. She is currently Chair of the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC), a member of APAC’s MRA Management Committee, Member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Arrangement Management Committee, and a member of the ILAC Executive Committee. She is also a Lead Evaluator for ILAC/APAC evaluations of accreditation bodies for signatory status in Mutual Recognition Agreements.
Eduardo Trifoni, Director of the Space Test Program and Head of the National Space Test Facility, ANU, Australia
The National Space Test Facility is the largest space testing infrastructure in Australasia. Eduardo has had a significant impact on space programs of four continents, contributing to the experimental development of many space vehicles capable of operating in Low Earth Orbit and withstanding the hypersonic entry phase, including nineteen spacecraft successfully sent into orbit in the last four years.
Call for Abstracts
Abstracts are sought for oral presentations at the conference. Presentations can be on any aspects relating to metrology, laboratory accreditation, traceability, etc. and are normally 20 minutes duration. Help us build an informative and diverse programme.
Conference organisers require you to submit your abstract in the same form as this template (click below to download).
Deadline for abstract submission is 31st March 2025. Please email your submission to secretary@metrology.asn.au
