We are pleased to share that the Measurement Standards Laboratory of New Zealand (MSL) is hosting a special event to celebrate World Metrology Day 2026. This annual occasion highlights the essential contributions of professionals working across a wide range of metrology organisations and laboratories.
This year’s theme, Building Trust in Policy Making, emphasises the critical role that measurement plays in supporting informed decision-making, from trade and innovation to public health and emerging technologies. Reliable measurement underpins the evidence base needed for sound policy and helps build confidence and trust within society.
We encourage our members and the wider community to take part in this important event and join in recognising the impact of metrology worldwide.
