The New Zealand MSA Branch committee offer two awards that recognise and celebrate excellence in Metrology. The NZ Metrologist Award will be awarded to an individual who has been in a Metrology related industry for more than five years, who stands out amongst others in respect to technical knowledge, quality focus, client focus, innovation and leadership. The Emerging Metrologist Award is for an individual who has been in a metrology related industry for less than five years, but demonstrates excellent progression in technical knowledge, quality and client focus. Watch the video below of our Emerging Metrologist dual winners from 2022.
These awards are offered alternatively every year at the World Metrology Day event in NZ. Careers in metrology are extremely varied, align with a globally consistent measurement system and contribute to the health, wealth and safety of our people and economies.
Applications for each award will be invited early each year. Click below to read more about the entry process and criteria.
