The latest MSA Newsletter is out and features more information about MSA2020.  The organising committee urge you to register now to catch the early bird rates that end on Monday 2nd December. The programme is being drafted and includes a diverse conversation across all areas of metrology along with a good range of workshops.  Add the Conference dinner venue that has been confirmed at the famed MCG and we are looking forward to a very exciting and informative 3 days in Melbourne

The MSA committee and members met on Monday 14 October for the Special General Meeting to vote on the following motion:

Noting that the MSA constitution requires that the Committee must convene an annual general meeting within five months after the end of each financial year, the special general meeting hereby agrees to defer the AGM to be held during the MSA Conference in March 2020.

In November 2018, the International Committee for Weights and Measures (Comité international des poids et mesures, CIPM) held its quadrennial General Conference on Weights and Measures (Conférence Générale des Poids et Mesures, CGPM). 

The next MSA Conference will held in Melbourne from Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th March 2020, with a welcome reception on the evening of Monday 2nd

The open session of the 26th General Conference on Weights and Measures will be live streamed from Paris on the BIPM Youtube Channel.  It is sure to be a significant event in metrology.
