The National Measurement Institute (Aus) will hold a one-day workshop on emerging lighting technology such as light emitting diodes (LEDs) on 4 May 2016 at its premises in Lindfield. 

NPL (London, UK) will be hosting an "Open House" on 17th of May, 2016, in the lead up to World Metrology Day (20th of May).  Any members that are resident or visiting London at this time are encourage to register and attend this free event which is sure to be interesting and informative.

Standards Australia is currently reviewing older standards and this may result in withdrawal of a standard that you still use and refer to.
